Three paths.
One perspective.

I write about Vitruvius and the Basilica of Fano, Antoni Gaudí, artificial intelligence, and how digital technologies can transform our understanding, conservation and communication of heritage—making it a shared resource, accessible for everyone to experience.

The website’s manifesto

The age of AugustusArtificial intelligence

Technology
weaves history together.

Vitruvius, in the age of Augustus, and Gaudí, at the dawn of the twentieth century, stand at the beginning of two worlds. Two thousand years separate them; a shared spirit connects them: seeking humanity’s place within nature through architecture.

Vitruvius is a thread running through our civilisation: he brings architecture, nature, measurement and machines together in a body of knowledge that speaks to different ages. The Basilica of Fano makes this legacy tangible and invites us to bring it into everyone’s lives.

Heritage for everyone, beauty we can share: this is the mission of my research. Digitisation has opened new paths to access; today, AI can bring people even closer to history, helping them understand and experience it as a shared resource.

Community at the heart

Vitruvio Italia

Culture becomes a shared resource.

This website is also the editorial home and manifesto of Vitruvio Italia: a community connecting memory, new technologies and participation to shape the future.

Vitruvius inspires a vision that concerns us all: heritage as a shared resource, culture as care for places, innovation serving people. Sharing beauty means opening up knowledge and giving communities an active role.

Heritage for everyone. Beauty we can share.

A lifetime of research

Digital technologies do not replace heritage. They help us understand it, share it and make it accessible to everyone: a shared resource, beauty we can experience together. Democratising heritage is the mission of my work; today, artificial intelligence can bring it even closer to people.

From my thesis on Gaudí to studies of Vitruvius, digital twins and intelligent agents: this website brings together a journey connecting history, representation and the future, with the responsibility of passing on heritage that belongs to everyone.

Conversations and projects
